Don Friedemann Memorial Scholarship Winners Announced
by Hartford Players

 

This summer the Hartford Players are pleased to announce the winners of four arts scholarships.  The award winners are Stephanie Hansen, Jessica Janzer, Elizabeth DuPont and Kalie Peterson.

  • Stephanie Hansen just finished her second year at UW-Stevens Point inHartford Players 2010 Scholarship Winners their prestigious musical theater program, and will return in the fall for her third year, majoring in musical theater.  Hansen has had lead roles in many high school and Hartford Players productions, and when not working, acting or singing, she also plays piano, cello, and continues to dance.

 

Jessica Janzer has been busy at UWM, earning a spot on the Dean’s list, having her work displayed at the UWM Union, and even earning an Outstanding Foundations Student scholarship. She is considering Art Education or Art Therapy degrees.

 

  • Elizabeth DuPont is continuing at UW-Stevens Point in the Instrumental Music Education program.  Consistently earning high honors as an outstanding student, she manages to keep her own expertise sharp while learning how best to pass on that skill and ability to future students.

 

  • Kalie Peterson, veteran of high school and Hartford Players shows for years, will begin her college Musical Arts education in Utah at BYU.
